Le Sud Suite gets the nod from the jury
The Le Sud Suite concept took home the award as best exhibition space at Marbella Design.
Thanks to a comprehensive coronavirus safety concept, Marbella Design was one of the few trade fairs to welcome visitors this year. The fair took place at the Palacios de Congresos, Ferias y Exposiciones de Marbella in the Spanish region of Andalusia from 24 September to 3 October 2020.
An award-winning concept
One of the 46 exhibition spaces on show was Le Sud Suite from Spanish interior designer Nayra Iglesias. Measuring 20 m2, the suite features various terracotta shades and natural materials and is both simple and elegant. This was not only a big hit among the visitors – it also received the jury award as the best exhibition space at the trade fair. The room offers a concept for a hotel suite that is both sustainable and innovative, which won over the jury of architects.
Giving a special touch to the smallest room
The hotel suite is divided up into an inviting relaxation area and the bathroom as a functional area. The wardrobe is located to the right of the suite and the washbasin area to the left. Between these two areas are two cabins containing a shower and toilet. The latter is an AquaClean Mera shower toilet from Geberit.
With its floating design, the modern shower toilet blends in harmoniously with the overall concept. As the visitors were able to see for themselves, the concept is absolutely perfect for hotels – it is hygienic, easy to clean, features sustainable, intelligent technology and a range of clever functions that offer guests additional comfort.
